Forum Meltdown...

One of the funniest times..in fact, THE funniest time since I have been reading the forum as it turns out that rome's biggest supporter octon, who regularly praises him for getting a 1.05 shot correct or doing well in the tipping comp is actually rome himself using a different account!

He said he wasn't doing it to boost his ego but if he wasn't, then I have no idea why someone would do that. It's clear his mental health needs to be assessed as he is giving no reasoning for why he done it! ha ha

Anyway, back to the tennis and it was a mixed day but a tiny profit came out at the end so can't complain. My pick Stosur was a nice priced pick for the tipping comp too, just a shame that so many others picked the same otherwise I could have made a decent jump up the table.

The Bank Has Doubled...

Some more profit yesterday and what I forgot to mention is since the football escapade where the bank was pretty much back to start, it has since doubled in the last couple of weeks.
The current balance is £313.09 and this week sees a few less matches as we head towards the end of the FO but let's hope the good run continues. If a couple of losing bets come in then I think it will take a bit longer to claw back with the smaller number of matches so the odd losing day should be expected this week. Let's see though.

An Average Day...

Not lots of selections yesterday and a just crept over in to profit with the last bet. Alot of very short price favs got turned over yesterday and it seems to be a funny old tournament so far!

Hopefully the rain holds off today and we get some good matches to finish the weekend off with.

Better Weather, Better Results...

Like the headline says, the better weather for once brought some better results with a decent profit on the day. There is more rain predicted for Saturday (or there was the other day when I looked) so hopefully it can stay clear and some decent results can still come up with some wins.

A loss or two today so far in the early matches but some later sequence bets should be able to be made today so fingers crossed we can claw some of it back and finish with a profit.

Come On The Sun...

There has only been a few matches over the last two days because of all the bloody rain. It ended with a £4 ish loss on Wednesday and around a £3 profit yesterday and a loss of £1.07 over the two days.

Should be sunny today if the weather predictions are correct so hopefully a more detailed update later tonight.

A Great Day...

A great day yesterday as the system pulled up 20 selections and 18 of them won. It really gave the bank a nice boost.

There are not as many picks for today upon first glance so it will no doubt be a quieter day and I can't imagine a strike rate that high too often either.

Bloody Fergie!

Ferguson ended up coming back from a set down to beat Kvitova and I know that now I have reached top spot in the tipping comp overall it will go wrong with me not watching much tennis!

It turned out there were a few matches that matched a later sequence yesterday and they went the correct way so a nice profit again. There is still some smaller sequences to complete and some early defeats today could have a good chance to be gained back today if the matches left suit the criteria.

Let's hope it keeps going up and i'm still staying away from the football too so happy all round.

A Losing Start...

Not the best start to the week but with so many matches ahead of us there is no worries and it should make it back in the next day or two.

One biggish bet for a later one in a sequence and that is Kvitova to beat Ferguson today. There are a few more sequences that need to be chased up but no matches today meet the criteria so it's mostly bet 1's of the sequences going on today.

A Busy Week Ahead...

Only a quick post now as i'm off to a BBQ with the nice weather today. Some more wins today and a decent profit again.
Many many matches this week with French Open starting and it'll be busy times keeping up with it and keeping track. Hopefully I can get the bank building quickly towards the £400 mark so then normal size staking can come in to it.

Survival Of Tank Week...

I had to brace myself this week as with the overstaking to get back to £400 (then can target 0.5% per bet) it was going to be a bit risky with all the tanking that goes on before a Grand Slam.

Montanes and Seppi both screwed me early on in the week and I had a feeling it was going to blow the bank and that would have been very disappointing to say the least.

It picked up towards the end of the weeks though, and got a nice profit today and finished the week with a bank increase too.



Around a 20% increase in the bank in one week, tank week of all weeks too and I'm very happy. Not even been close to wanting to bet on football or anything else and I'm now happy to just let this tick over in the background and hopefully it can be successful and get at least one seether from the forum fuming that it actually worked (if it does).

Lots of matches coming up now with FO Qualies starting today so hopefully it can keep going like this, like back when I first started before scalping football markets!

De Ja Vu...

A feeling of de ja vu here with the good profit coming for the stake but it has to be overstaking due to the small size of the bank, exactly what I was doing at the start anyway.

£2 lay bets to start the sequences until we reach £400 again but it's only around £160 still, just above the start bank.

I also WONT be touching the football this time around! ha ha

One For Today...

Only one bet for today so it doesn't really matter if I post it as it wont give away the method I have gone back to using.

I have layed Ferrer @ 3.3. Will he win? God knows, I haven't been watching hardly any tennis for a while now so don't really know about the form, it's all to do with the stats and the odds but I'll be cheering Fed and may watch a bit if I can peel myself away from the PS3 for a bit!

Back To The Old Way...

After trying to change a few things to make it safe, to enhance profits and reduce the risk it just isn't working. A loss on most days for the past week or so but only minimal.

It's clear to me that original way that got the bank from 150 to 450 ish pretty quick is the way to go. Yesterday I returned to that and got profit right away. Also on for profit today so I'll stick with this again, just thinking where it could have been by now if I didn't bet on the football and just stuck with this.

I am considering to just wipe losses after a 3 bet losing streak instead of breaking it down to recover too, I remember when I started it was producing decent profit with still some to try and recover so wiping that and carrying on with starting stakes could be beneficial.

I'll try and update a little more often now anyway.

A Fresh-ish Start...

After me nuts on the football like I said in that last comment, it put me back down to slightly above the start bank. Not into a loss still but annoyed that I threw it all away betting on football.

I decided to spend more time away from the computer and do some slight tweaking of the tennis system.

After a week of the odd loss/odd profit, break even etc, I made around £7 today and the bank is at £161.81.

I'll do a few more updates now, maybe every few days and just keeping to the tennis and going to the gym/watching tv shows (The Wire atm) will keep me busy instead of betting on footie.
